A celebration of Western novels, comics, movies, television and literature, both classics and contemporary. Although comments will be posted on some entries and not others, I won't necessarily be "reviewing" each item. I just appreciate Westerns in general and hope that fellow kindred spirits will, too. DEVIL'S GAMBIT
"Zeke Masters" was actually New York writer Don Bensen. The series spotlighted gambler "Faro Blake" and did not run much past this 30th entry. The cover seems to be missing the words "An Adult Western"; these words were prominently display on most of the earlier books. I suppose one could tell it was an adult Western by the fact that his hand is starting to close in on her, um, virtue.
